When I was looking for sounds for this, I wasn't really drawn to anything. All I really did was turn on the camcorder in my phone and walked around with it hanging out. I got alot of my jacket jangling, but I also got some other sounds so that worked out nice. I changed most of the sounds by messing around with all the cool effects in audacity. I kinda like the way sounds change when you mess with the tempo and the pitch several dozen times.
The mood I was trying to go for was sort of a "Huh, this isn't quite right here" followed by "Oh shit," and I think I did kind of alright with that. My original idea was to start kinda normal and end with the stargate scene from 2001, but then I saw it on Youtube and realized that I misremembered the scene. I was expecting something like this (Caution: Homestuck. Will probably ruin recommended video's section forever) to be in there, but oh well. So I guess the second video inspired me more. And I need to watch 2001 again.
