Failed Project.

So there was supposed to be a final project here, but yeah that didn't happen at all. Nice to see that this is the second time that I could do a big ass animation. Anyways, what would have happened is that stoick.gif down there, and then this.

It kinda sucks, but at least there's something to see there, instead of me just telling you what would have happened. Show Dont Tell and all that. The entire video would be done with line drawings on paper like in the gif, except for the last bit of it where I'm drawing in photoshop. There were some shot clips of me at the beginning and the end, one at the beginning where I'm angry about art, another at the end where yeah I guess this is alright, but those wandered off somewhere, I don't know.

I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get around to finishing this, it kinda pissed me off. And later on when I actually know how to animate things, I probably wont have a problem with quitting drawing if its not absolutely perfect. Actually, that problem might be going away pretty soon; even though those are quick sketches, I like some of those frames. The movie is supposed to be about how I get (got) too mad about art to actually finish what I'm doing, but if that doesn't really happen anymore, then the movie is kinda pointless. It's kinda like "Hey, so here's this thing about something that used to happen to be, but it doesn't anymore, so uhh

Installation would just be a TV screen or a wall projection. The installation wouldn't really be that important to the piece, but I guess you could throw scraps of paper all over the place if you really wanted to.

The whole piece and everything I did with it up to now is kinda disappointing, to be honest. Feel kinda bad about not having anything good to put here. Whatever, at least I had fun and made good stuff in class. Only old Terrible here to blemish that.

Spiders are still hard to animate. Fuck you Osias.
